Job Description
Under close direction, assists in the maintenance, repair, alteration, and construction of masonry surfaces/structures by performing duties such as lifting, carrying, and handing tools and equipment to the journey-level employee.
Mix soils, water, and amendments according to prescribed instructions.
Spread mortar as directed.
Dig trenches or holes for the construction of masonry structures.
Cleans masonry tools and equipment.
Keeps work areas clean and orderly.
Maintains masonry work logs.
